Using a different font

Say you want to use Zap Chancery in your document. One of the great features of Textures 2.0 is automatic metric creation so you never have to find or make those stinky old metrics again! But how do you put it into your document?

First, open up "Show fonts..." in the File menu, as shown below:

Select the desired font. In this case, it is Zapf Chancery.

Copy the font name using , then hit OK.

Then in your document, put in something like this in the header part of your document (you need to put the ellipse in by using:

       \font\test = Zapf...Chancery

Then use the following to activate that font:

        \test This is some text in Zapf Chancery
