MathSetter 1.2
The much anticipated upgrade to MathSetter is here! With this new release, Blue Sky continues to provide its customers with advancing technology in response to their needs.
Our new version of MathSetter contains major advances in XPress and TeX technology, allowing our clients to publish journal-quality mathematics more efficiently, quickly and easily than ever before.
Among the improvements you will find in 1.2 are:
- Improved Color Support -- a new color \special accepts named Quark colors and a shade percentage.
- PostScript \special{} -- inline PostScript can be included in the typeset equation for special effects like strikeout and boxed equations.
- Higher performance -- MathSetter 1.2 is faster than previous versions, making it possible to sent and edit a publication in less time than previously required.
- Easier installation -- the all-in-one XTension replaces the previous client/server structure with a single plug-in. Easier and faster to install.
- Easier to use -- because there is no need to launch or to connect to a separate application, just start it up and begin to produce elegant, flawless mathematical settings, ready for publication.
- Complete compatibility -- existing documents work just as before, avoiding to have to re-write them into MathSetter 1.2, thus saving valuable time in re-writes or revisions to existing documents. You can read any document in MathSetter 1.0 and 1.1 from MathSetter 1.2.
