With "Synchronicity", the input and output windows of every TeX document are cross-linked, or synchronized, so that a click of the mouse in one window takes you instantly to the corresponding position in the other window: click on a letter in the editor, and instantly see where it appears in the output; click on a symbol in the typeset display and go instantly to the TeX text that produced it. It's that simple. It's so simple, and so direct, that you have to see it to believe it. And once you try it, you'll never want to be without it.

Synchronicity takes away all of the mental overhead of keeping track of how your output was produced, saving you immense amounts of time and eliminating frustration. No more searching, just point and click to go directly back and forth between input and output. And while you're editing, the typeset display follows along, instantly and automatically showing you precisely where you're working. (We call this "follow-focus", and it's almost magic.) There's no programming or macros required, nothing to remember (or forget); Synchronicity works with all TeX formats and styles and documents.

There's more to Textures 2.0: it now knows the whole structure of your documents, with all of your included chapter sub-files. So, Textures 2.0 automatically knows to typeset your master document while you're editing in chapter six. If you see something wrong in the output for chapter three, just click and Textures 2.0 will take you there, auto-opening the correct source file.

And there's automatic font installation with Textures 2.0: just install a new font in your Macintosh, and Textures 2.0 knows all about it the next time you start it up. Plus hyper-TeX linking, and dynamic font modifiers, and LaTeX performance improvements, and more ...
