PLANTING TREES
SUPPORTING REFORESTATION
We believe it’s important to engage with thoughtful partners when producing our products. We’ve partnered with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity.

Certified Paper?
This ensures our paper comes from responsibly managed forests that protect biodiversity, worker & community rights.
Why Kraft Packaging?
Our kraft paper is uncoated (this makes it easier to recycle) and made with less processing than standard packaging.
Why No Stickers?
Due to the use of adhesive, most stickers are not reusable or recyclable and will end up in a landfill. We like to keep our products recyclable!
Why Soy-Based Ink?
Soy-based ink is renewable, made from plants and emits less Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), compared to traditional ink.

Blue Sky Cares
Blue Sky manufactured 3,000,000 units using paper from FSC certified trees.
Blue Sky has planted 65,020 trees to date in partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit dedicated to combating deforestation.
Blue Sky will divert 90% of waste from landfills by 2025
We have taken a big step on our sustainability journey by estimating our Scope 1, 2 & 3 greenhouse gas emissions as well as setting a reduction target percentage of 29.4% for our Scope1 & 2 GHG emissions by 2027 in accordance with the Science-Based Targets Initiative. As we refine and improve the quality of our data collection, we anticipate there to be an increase in our carbon footprint, but will stay on target to achieve our reduction target through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
In 2022, Blue Sky conducted its first office waste audit.
Blue Sky diverted 48% of its waste from landfills in 2022.
This accomplishment underscores the company's unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management practices. This achievement serves as a testament to Blue Sky’s goal of corporate responsibility and its dedication to making a positive impact on the planet.
In 2025, Blue Sky has a goal of diverting at least 90% of waste from landfills to achieve zero waste operations.
Through strategic initiatives and ongoing efforts, Blue Sky is actively working towards minimizing its impact on the environment while fostering a culture of waste reduction and resource conservation.
