CONSTANT PURSUIT OF EFFECTIVENES AND EFFICIENCY
My career has been made up of two distinct periods -- duty with the US Army Corps of Engineers and senior management roles with an international leader in the hotel, hospital and leisure business sectors. Although my employer in civilian life provided access to the most current and comprehensive forms of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and PCs supported by an extremely competent, committed and forward-thinking IT department, I remained committed to a well-organized paper and pen journal for scheduling, planning and scheduling my activities. I also used this format to headline key minute notes as well as a "tickler" for critical items associated with my areas of management oversite. I also used the format wherein all of the pages were numbered with a hard cover and spine. I hav used products from DAY TIMER, At-A-Glance and Stephen Covey over the years. Then I discovered the Blue Sky product line about five years ago.
